Baby Annie was
born a singleton. With this comes the risk of having a "swimmer"
puppy. We thought we were doing good until day 6 when Annie was eating
herself to death. We did great until I went back to work and Britt just hung
out in the whelp box. Great friends Angela & Deb came to the rescue.
They had a litter(9 babies) the same day and volunteered to send me 4 puppies to help
Annie and it sure did. We are making progress. I have had to tie her
back legs together to help her stand and move around. It's working and there
is hope. So now you will start to see pictures with more than one
puppy in them!! Britt is a great mom and took the new puppies right
away.
First Kiss
I did NOT put the
toys in the box. Britt did. She knew that Annie needed friends. She
did get carried away and I had to keep taking toys out of the box!

The next few shots
are at 4 weeks. Annie will be leaving me on Wednesday along with the
other puppies to finish growing up at Angela & Deb's. I will miss them
terribly!!
